copper sulphate gives a blue solution, why is it not used as a pigment?

im doing my chemistry h/w and this question came up and i have looked in my book and on the sheet but there is no answer it would be very helpful if u could help me on this question thank you

Yes, but they're gay. In San Antonio, everyone had that crap for about a year, then it phased out, much like everything else. I guess Cali must be a year or two behind on the fads.
firstly because it's soluble, so it would just wash out, secondly because it doesn't dye things propaerly, third because it goes white when it dries out too fast. Oh and it's irritant.
