copper water line in garage is improperly supported according to home inspector. What would proper?

Answer:

Copper water pipe must be supported every 10' horizontially. If it is, check to see if the supports are metal straps. Unless they are copper straps you will need to wrap duct tape or electrical tape around the pipe so the two different kinds of metal do not touch. Electrolysis will eventually corrode the pipe otherwise.
low oil wouldnt have triggered the check engine light. that's triggered by onboard computer if something is wrong with the engine from something else; could be from a distributor going bad. the computer will store a trouble code for the tech when he takes a look at it. this is a service tech's job. u should check the oil at least once every 2 weeks, or if u run it out of oil, u'll wind up trashing the engine real quick.

How old is your car? The higher the mileage, the more you need to stay on top of your cars maintanence. It could make your light come on, but most cars have an oil light, and low oil causes low oil pressure, and there is usually a light for that. Look in your owners manual and find out how to turn off the light, and if it comes back on after you reset it, you need to have your car looked at

You mean the inspector didn't tell you what to use? They have the copper U shape hangers for the copper lines. Each side of the U is a screw hole. They can mount to anything where the water line is
