Question:

correct speed to drive on a speed bump?

hi im 16, and i failed my dmv first try because of this reason.. the lady was dumb exaggerating all these sayin i drove 0 over the speed bump. well aren't you supposed to go smoothly through speed bumps? I went like 5 mph through the speed bumps or else if i went fast the car would have jump. She tells me after i take the test that I should have drove 15 mph through the bumps so what is the correct speed to drive over a speed bump? please answer i need to know for my next dmv test lol -.- thanks

Answer:

Most all smoke detectors have a battery backup and the beeping means the battery needs to be replaced even though it is hard wired.
Wow those trikes are cool! Now I want to make me one too! I wouldn't have guessed that PVC would be strong enough to support your weight though. I think that schedule 40 is the strongest. The shcedule is printed on the side of the pipe and may be shortened to sch 40. It has a thicker wall than the sch 20. When you go to Lowe's, Home Depot or where ever it is that you are going to buy the pipe, ask the sales associate what the strongest pipe is. That is what they are there for. Good luck and thank you very much for bringing these cool little toys to my attention.
To be honest, I don't know for sure, this is just a guess but It could possibly have batteries(For when your power is out.) and they need replaced, like I said, just a guess. Take it down and see if it does have batteries and try replacing them. I'm sure they have to have batteries because if your power goes out while your asleep and your house catches on fire your screwed.
