Question:

Correct tires for 2005 Buick Lesabre Limited?

Hi, I have a 2005 Buick Lesabre Limited. I have two different size tires on my car. The front end is 215/70/16 and the rear has 225/60/16 . Having two different tires an issue? What is the correct tires?

Answer:

open the driver,s side door and look on the sticker on the door jam ! it tells what size tires your car takes !
Usually having two different size tires front and back is no big deal if the rotating circumference is within 3% of each other. However, the tires that you have right now is 4.5% different. I recommend you change them.
There are a few ways to determine the correct stock tire size for your car. First, is the owner's manual, it will give you not only the correct tire size, but all the needed information for maintaining your car. Second, there is usually a sticker on the door jamb of your door that gives you the stock tire size and proper inflation pressure. Last, on some cars this information will appear on a sticker either on the inside of the console cover (if so equipped) or on the inside of your glove box door. If you don't have access to an owner's manual for your car you can dowload a copy for free at the site shown at the end of this post. Best of luck.
