Question:

CPVC and Steel pipe connections?

Is it safe to screw cpvc male adapter with a steel pipe?what I do not want is for is to cross tread. Also will it hold? (pressure wise)

Answer:

Tony didn't gun it or rev his engine, or he wouldn't have been able to stop his race car as fast as he did. Tony stopped his car real quick after that kid ran down the track into the path of Tonys car.
Accident. Watch the video in slow motion. The kid grabbed the wing of Tony's car.
I've never did the drug myself, but I've read about it definitely. I've wondered if eating the raw plant would have the same effect as smoking it, but apparently the active ingredient (THC) really only 'activates' when smoked or heated to a high temperature (such as baking in brownies). So I would guess myself that it wouldn't work, since it was already 'smoked away' if you will. It may be worth trying. Or, if you really don't like the taste or harmfulness of smoking it, you can try a vaporizer where you inhale the vapor. Definitely would be less harmful that way.
I'd blame the media first. They have been sensationalizing these childish displays for years. Next, I'd blame the sanctioning body for allowing it. Most short tracks are unevenly lit. They ALL have dark spots. It's pretty hard to see out of a midget or sprint car at all. Stacks of tear-offs, mud or dirt on your face shield, dust, and smoke, against the glare of the track lighting in front of you, make it hard. If someone wears a black driving uniform with a black helmet, and walks out onto the actual racing surface, he's virtually invisible. When I was racing we had to wear white pants. It was a requirement. I NEVER unbelted or got out of my car, until the track workers got to me. I was hit several times while sitting stationary at the edge of the racing surface. I raced in the 50s and 60s when these things were REALLY dangerous. In 19 years, I only had one serious injury. I had the privilege of racing, full time, for a living for 5 full years. Fault? Track lighting. Track conditions. Allowing immature kids, to get out of their cars on the track while cars are still turning laps. Allowing dark colored uniforms in the pits OR on the track. Note to all you Monday morning quarterbacks, and second guessers. Gunning the engine is the ONLY way to make a sprint car turn quickly. It was probably a last second evasive maneuver. Nothing's changed in 50+ years. Some poor dude has to die, before promoters, sanctioning bodies, or the racers themselves, will to ANYTHING to make racing safer.
Even if he is GUILTY, $ will get him out of it.Human beings don't matter anymore, if you have a LOT of money.buy your way out, pay to keep a persons mouth shut..seems to be the norm anymore.
