Question:

Crush resistant gloves?

I have no leads and this may seem like a vague question but I'm looking for a pair of crush resistant gloves that can withstand the crushing and pinching of live equipment such as gears. Preferably plastic so they won't pinch of my fingers if it does get crushed like metal and so my hand won't be sucked inside the equipment if it were cloth. If anybody could share knowledge of these special gloves or point me in the right direction at acquiring them would be much appreciated.

Answer:

Lightening Storms, I am from Redding and the smoke is bad here too! We were right in the center of the storm, little rain and lots of thunder and lightening, I actual saw a bolt of lightening hit the ground 20 ft away from me or so, at Ace Hardware and the thunder almost gave me a heart attack, it looks like we are going to get more dry lightening this week sometime, which means more fires..which means more smoke.
Have repaired ASAP. If this fluid gets on your exhaust manifold or exhaust system, you have the potential of a working fire while driving.
This is a safety hazard and should be fixed as soon as possible. Was ordering it the quickest way you could get the replacement? Will it be in before you leave? What you could do (but shouldn'tyou should have this repaired immediately) is go to the store and find some rubber line that is bigger than the pump hose. Cut a short piece out and cover the hole, and wrap it with a clamp. It's very temporary and may not even work depending on where the hole is, but you should still fix it first.
