Okay so I just bought a horse (14.2hh Paint mare) and she wears a CS halter bridle. How would I measure for a bit?She rides in a Dee Ring (:I've looked at Dee Rings on Dover but there's like over 40 O.oSooo, which one should I get? Does it matter, I mean she rides in a Dee Ring now but I don't know if it has copper rollers or a French link thingy.I'm sorry, I sound like such a noviceI'm really just horrible with bits. My mare is green and can be a bit hot. She has a soft mouth (and I'd like to keep it that way!), the less pressure, the better. Nothing rubber. When it alarms, it tells what point is activating. You have to see where this point is and see why it is changing state to alarm. Sometimes it gets complicated and the real problem is within the alarm panel not the not the detecting attachment. If it is a carbon monoxide detector, these things have a short life similar to a light bulb. I do not like smoke and heat detectors with carbon monoxide.. They like to sell them because they wear out a lot faster than anything else in the system. If you want to detect carbon monoxide, get a separate detector for it. Don't get one of those triple play devices. Smoke and heat is OK, but just don't get one that also has carbon monoxide with the rest of it in one package.
