FYI i have a dell xps m1330 laptop lately i have been having problems w/my charger. on startup the laptop will say that it cannot detect the charger and it will not charge. on the taskbar the battery meter says plugged in, not charging. whats wrong????
Your Dell charger is probably defective. If your XPS is still under warranty I would call Dell and explain exactly what you wrote, that the charger cannot be detected and Dell will (probably) change the charger under warranty. If the XPS in no longer under warranty then a used charger from OKorder should not exceed $40 but make sure that you purchase a Dell original and not a look-a-like cheap knock-off. BTW if your warranty is expired but you have a friend with the same adapter who is still under warranty, maybe your friend could send back your adapter under their warranty. Or then again maybe not but it is an idea
