Question:

Did i get rid of bed bugs?

We've got a bed bug spray and sprayed it all over my bed room, all the cracks and corners and dressers, we also wrapped up the mattress and box spring in plastic and put a poison freshner inside it, and then we threw out the mattress and box spring and got new ones, and we decided to keep the plastic on the box spring. Do you think we've gotten rid of them? OH! And we also soaked the bed frame in bedbbug spray and washed it off at the carwash.

Answer:

It's heat that gets rid of bedbugs. Exterminators seal a room and then run heaters for 24 hours. I haven't heard of sprays working.
Bedbugs breathe through their skin somehow just like mites and some other bugs. If you put baby powder or plain cornstarch anywhere you can, it will kill them. I know this from experience! It works! I always carry baby powder with me when I travel and even with the ongoing bedbug epidemic I haven't had a single problem since I learned about this method of killing them.
Bed bugs are VERY hard to get rid of - did you spray your couches chairs as well?
