difference between sch 80 and sch 40 pipe threads?

I know the i.d. of sch 80 is less than of sch 40. But is the thread size? For example, would a sch 40 1 threaded female npt fitting work with a sch 80 1 threaded male npt fitting?

Answer:

There are a few different types of alarms, all you would need is the type that goes off when a window or door opens, and not a motion sensor. Then even if the cat knocks something over, the alarm won't go off. Best of luck!!

I know quite a lot about what you've experienced I also wet my bed on and off even into my college years, and even now at 29 it still happens occasionally, although it's really rare now. There's no magic bullet to make it stop, but hopefully at least you can make it easier for yourself to deal with and maybe reduce the frequency of it a little bit. It is hard to be very specific when I can just type. :-( But your must solve your problem in two halves: 1st half - put all the energy of the spring into the car. You will know you are doing this when: a) Your wheels do not slip when the car accelerates. b) Your mousetrap is quiet. (The SNAP is energy, after all, that could have gone into the car. So your drive wheels should be heavy, so their inertia of rotation absorbs the spring energy efficiently and they should be rubber so the don't slip. I am thinking a hockey puck or metal disk with rubber bands or rubber sheet held on by contact cement. A drive pully connected to these where you wrap a string around the pulley that is unwound by your mousetrap. Look for slip here too. And make sure you have a clutch or disengage your drive line so it doesn't try to wrap up the other way. 2nd half - KEEP the car going once the spring is done. You might think aerodynamics is key here, it is not. The car is not going that fast. So do your best to make the car aerodynamic but don't sweat that. (Don't do anything really dumb, like a forward facing cup, but any swept shape will work). The biggest thing here is friction. So use a good graphite dry lubricant and POLISH your axles. If you use a nail or something, polish polish polish it. Chuck the nail in a drill and get is spinning. Hold finer and finer grits of sandpaper to it. Then switch to cloth with a buffing compound (auto store) then switch to a polishing compound (like brasso). The smooth axles will reduce friction and the car will keep going. (Please wear safety glasses, a spinning nail with polishing compound could sling it in your eyes).
