Question:

dimension of a standard cement bag?

dimension of a standard cement bag?

Answer:

Standard cement bags come in 60lb. and 90lb. bags. If you are trying to figure out how much you'll need for a project you gotta do some figurin'. I guess thats what your asking. Here's a tip: When you got it figured out, you'll probably need about 20% more. Don't know why, Murphy's law I guess. It's easyer to return what you don't use than to run to the store and mix up some more. Anyway's look at the bag and it will tell you the volume. get your dementions you need and bring a calculator and pencil to the store, I'm sure you'll figure it out.
Cement Bag Size
They have straps on them that are flexible and should be sat in your mortar bed every 900mm vertically ok.They secure the b/work so they won't collapse ok.If you start on concrete floor make sure and put a dampcourse under the first mortar bed.The brick size is 215mmx100mmx65mm.You could also use standard blocks 440mmx100mmx215mm again using the s/straps and same 1:4 sand and cement you would need 18 of those however when you reach the top assuming it's a standard door size you should have a 75mm gap fill this with 4 of the bricks with dimensions mentioned above ok.
50 and 40 Pounds cement bags Most dimensions of a cement bag that weighs 50 pounds are 20 inches in width and 30 inches in height. It has a thickness of 4 inches. Some cement bag measurements are smaller and weighs 40 pounds. They usually have an easy-tear sewn top that runs the entire width of the bag.
