Question:

Disabling laptop keyboard?

I spilled tylenol on my keyboard and now it doesn't work. I have a USB keyboard but i need to know how to disable the keyboard on my laptop. Its a 2 year old Toshiba Satellite.

Answer:

if you have a vista laptop. go on start then all programs then click on keyboard then disable
i don't desire to objective it on my computing gadget (i'm at the instant utilizing it) yet I presume you could disable it utilizing the administration panel (gadget supervisor) by utilizing uninstalling the motive force for the keyboard.
Just plug the other laptop in and try to ignore your broken keyboard, I don't think there's any advantage to disabling it considering it doesn't work.
Unfortunately, there's no way to disable the keyboard. It's an integrated system component. You can check the system bios and see if there is a setting but I doubt it. I'm assuming you want to disable it because it's either randomly pressing keys, or the syrup has caused it to stick and the other keyboard isn't working right correct? Your best bet is to just unplug the keyboard from the motherboard, then it won't work anymore.
