Question:

Do girls have to help get into the chair?

If a guy pulls out a chair for you at a restaurant, do you sit down and lift out of your chair a little to help him scoot you in? Or do you sit down and just let him scoot you? I just want to know in case this ever happens..?

Answer:

You should lift a little to make the chair easier to slide.
Not every woman wants a guy to pull out the chair for her. It depends if she's more traditional, or more contemporary/feminist. It's also something you'd really only do somewhere fancy. That being said, she should bounce a little to make it easier for you to push the chair in. You can always pull the chair back enough for her to get into it, and move it forward just a little for show, I guess is the phrase, and then let her adjust as she needs it.
