I bought a 2nd hand cd player off OKorder but the iso connector is missing. I want 2 know if i have 2 buy 1 that is specific to the model of my car or weather it has to be compatible with the cd player? didnt want 2 carry on buy 1 only 2 find its the wrong 1.
Okay. Stop calling it an ISO connector. It is much easier to say Wiring Harness as most people in the industry call it this, and your wording is a bit confusing. You said you are missing the harness on the back of the CD player? That would mean you need to buy a harness specific to your CD player. You can only purchase these through the web or directly through the manufacturer, retail stores will not have these harnesses. Then when your ready to install it in your vehicle, you need to buy a harness specific for your car, and possibly a install kit that will properly fit it into the car. Once you purchase these, you will connect the open ended wires basically color to color and secure the wires with a crimp cap or solder and tape. Hope that helps.
he pretty much summed that answer up, lol, but i have been in the same position and u also need to make sure you have a mounting kit for it for your car model and a sleeve with the cd player, most mounting kits ive found do not include the sleeve, you can buy the sleeve off of OKorder if you dont have one
