Question:

Do I need a bachelors degree for real estate?

I have been trying to find out if I will need a bachelors degree in real estate in order to get a good paying job as a real estate agent? I really want to go into real estate and do really well at it but I just don't want to have to put in 4 years of college to get a bachelors degree. Does anyone know if you can get a good paying job with the bachelors degree??

Answer:

nope, I don't think so. But I would like to request you to work with an estate agent for couple of months and get experience about the same. This will help you to run your business better
wow
Depends on your state's regulations but, in all likelihood, you do not need a bachelor's degree.
No you don't. But, it's going to be almost impossible to get people to work with you as a newbie in this volatile market. Buying or selling, people will likely go to those that have been in the game for years and years. Not a bad license to have though. All it took in Michigan was a 40hour crash course and you could get a license.
Being a real estate agent is not a good-paying job - it is your own business, and you can make as much or as little as you want depending on how hard you are willing to work. A bachelor's degree will not help you in real estate - being good with people, knowing how to market yourself, having a strong understanding of the local market and how to smoothly get a deal to go through - those are the things that will help you. If you spent 4 years and the same amount of money learning the real estate business that you would spend at college, you would be miles ahead, but remember that most people who go into real estate fail. Get a job as an assistant to a successful agent and learn the business that way for several years before you try it on your own. Good luck -
