check to see if the connector on the linkage has come loose gm had a recall a couple years ago for the wiper linkage coming apart
Krysta, First of all you do not need a new wiper motor. This is an easy fix. Stop your passenger wiper in the down position. At the base of both wiper arms where the exact pivot point is there will be a metal or plastic cap that covers a metric nut. All you need to do is slide the the drivers side wiper arm down to the approximate location of the left one and tighten the metric nut up with a box end wrench or a shallow well 3/8 socket and ratchet wernch. The size is either 13 or 14mm. Under the nut is a female tapered hole inside the wiper arm. It attaches to a male taper in the linkage output. There are no teeth, splines or keyways. Two smooth tapers in case the wiper arm is ever frozen to your windahield nothing will ever break.
