Question:

Do other Military bases have the military bots throw on the electrical wires?

I see military shoes, painted and then thrown on a telephone or electrical wire when people leave the Army, just wondering if other posts or military instalations around the US see this. I won't say were I am at, I don't want a MySpace thing happening to me, lets just say I am in the south. Does this happen anywhere elseanyone?

Answer:

I spent 20 years in the military and been to many posts around the world and to answer your question YES every post, kasern and camp has a short timer tree or telephone line (short timer means going home soon)
i've seen it at fort bliss alot
Yes , some people do throw their boots onto electrical wires in camp pendleton. Marine corps base
Happens at every post I've ever been to. Glad to know some things even as silly as that still seem to be traditional
Actually Germany has a permanent presence at Holloman AFB. The German Air Force Tactical Training Center has about 650 permanent-station troops assigned. German pilots come here for training in low-level flight and ground attack, because the American desert south-west has what Germany lacks: large amounts of empty space. But we're in Europe because at the end of the Second World War Allied troops were needed to help rebuild and then to face down the Soviets. I did two tours in Germany, and loved it. We have our remaining bases in Europe because it makes strategic sense for all involved. Towns do enjoy economic benefits from having young American troops with ready cash around. I can think of a couple of Gasth?user in Baumholder that made good money off me! Sorry you don't like us, but let's be honest. You're Germans. You really think were not going to sit on you for the next two centuries? We made that mistake once. Never again
