i had a roomba, but we lived overseas and plugged into a converter to charge it. when we got back to the states, it didn't work. plus, it snags on the fringes of carpets. it worked fine, but was more of a pain to set up the room to accomodate it than just getting out the old fashioned one and getting the job over with.
If you are looking for basic cleaning purposes, e.g. pets hairs, kids little food junks or maintaining a partially cleaned room then yes. In other words these robots can maintain a a room which is being used by adults which means keeping it will be worthy but if you are expecting it to clean like a pro maid then i suggest on. but on the bright side it will not become a pain in the head. You will be benefited by its existence
It relies upon how plenty you pay for it. I propose you do slightly analyze on manufacturers and think of approximately which of them seem respectable. My own adventure with a robotic vacuum is which you will desire to no longer apply it to stairs (notwithstanding all the manufacturers will variety) because of the fact I positioned it on the stairs and all the dirt and stuff got here out of it and went all over the floor.
