Question:

do teenage kids these days expect everything to be given to them?

my girl friend has a 15 year old daughter. she had carpet in her room and was complaining that it was old and wanted wood flooring instead of carpet. her mom asked me if she bought it if i would put it in. so we moved her furniture out and stipped the carpet and asked her if she would help pull the staples out that were still in the floor. she helped for two minutes. the next day she was asking me a hundred times when i am going to get the floor in because she wants it in now. i told her i would have it done sooner if you would have helped pulling the staples. well that got done. 2 months later we are making a game room downstairs for the video games and now she wants that to be her room because it looks very nice. when told no she stomped out of there slaming every door she could get her hands on. its not only her, the entire family expects everything but is not willing to help get what they want.

Answer:

1. When you do something like this the alarm company will call the business and ask you for information that only you should know that the owners gave you. 2. If they don't call then they are not doing their job. 3. Even if the police come by you wont be cited. 4. Tell the owners to have the alarm checked because its seems that the monitoring company is not doing their job.
