Question:

Do you guys know if electric blankets are dangerous?

I really want a heated blanket, and my parents are getting me one for Christmas.I would love to be able to sleep under it.I don't know much about them, other then you have to put them on a timer when you use them. Are they dangerous? Can they set on fire?I would be getting a good brand, if that makes a difference.Any experiences with them?

Answer:

cousin It. I made the costum last year for about $20.00. i won 2 different contests with it for a $150.00. and then sold it this summer for $20.00.
Your hard wired detectors are doing the job they were intended for however it sounds as if your battery operated detector is not working. This may simply be the battery but I would check it with a lit incense stick to be sure. As far as cancelling your detectors you need to remove the source(smoke) before they will quit. Good luck. If his ceiling is the normal white colored ceiling (not painted diff) then if you used Kilz (can find at Wal-Mart, Ace, etc) it will offer you help in removing the water spots. To prevent from painting the whole ceiling, take a sponge and dab a little of the kilz onto the spots you wish to cover.
Static Cling. wear all black and safety pin random clothes to your outfit like a sock, tshirt, panty hose.
