Question:

Do you have to change gears when you go over a speed bump?

Let's say you're on 3rd gear and there's a speed bump or a pedestrian crossing ahead and you have to slow down. Do you have to shift to a lower gear or can you just slightly press the clutch and the and the break? Also, it it possible to go from 1st gear straight to 4th, skipping 2nd and 3rd? Or do you have to change to each one at a time?

Answer:

you should use primer first, then the glue, make sure to cover both surfaces then give about a quarter turn when you push together
I've never heard of such a thing, but there probably is! Otherwise, you could get a job as a photographer for a newspaper, and take pictures of not just fires and stuff, but other large, local events!
steve, when solvent cementing pvc ( sch 40 ) all you need is deburr the edge of the pipes, use a good quality primer ( generally purple ) and a good quality glue. apply both to pipe and fittings and press in, hold for about 30 seconds and done - since your dealing with pressure, you must use pressure sch 40 fittings , not dwv pvc drain fittings you must let the fittings set or dry for at least 4 to 6 hrs before turning thw water back on. if you do this, there should be no reasons for a leak, best luck
