I'm looking for a living room rug approximately 8x10 or larger. Someone told me that I can perhaps be able to buy two pieces of carpet and have them made into a rug, it suppose to cost less than an already made rug and I can chose the colors I want. If you know any places where I can have this done or where I can purchase a rug for a low price, please let me know. I live in West Chicago, 60634. I can only afford to pay up to $150. Thanks!
I just bought an 8x10 wool rug from Ikea for $90 in their as-is room. There were several I liked on the sales floor in that size for under $150. They have a pretty wide range of rugs and prices. You can also check places like Sams, Costco, Big Lots, Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and Ross.
