Question:

Do you make your child's bed?

Or if they are old enough do they make it themselves? What about your bed?

Answer:

I make the 2 and 3 year old's bed, but just a little side note: We recently were in transition from sending my girls from separate beds to a queen bed together and for a few nights they had to sleep on mattresses on the floor and the 3 yr old made her bed on her own and did it beautifully.
My kids are ages 7, 6, 4 and 3 all make their own beds and have pretty much since they got into toddler beds. Either my husband or I make our bed in the morning--usually whoever gets up last, which is almost always him. Sometimes we'll pay a token (for our chore system, we pay the kids with tokens that they can use to play video games) for one of the kids to make our bed and they are usually very eager to help out.
No, I don't make my own either. With ll the things I have to get done during the day I really see no point in worrying about something so silly especially when I am just going right back to bed later that night. The only time it gets made is when I put clean sheets on the bed once a week and my boyfriend has to help with that because I have a huge water bed. Besides I hardly move during the night. My daughter sleeps with me and she doesn't sleep under the covers, she sleeps on top of them and uses her own blanket.
I make my bed every day, I can't get into an unmade bed at night, it just doesn't feel right. My son's bed doesn't really need to be made since he doesn't use his comforter, he just likes his little knit blanket over him.
I make my bed 90% of the time. My 7 year old daughter attempts to make her bed. It is a bunk bed and sometimes she sleeps on top and sometimes she sleeps on bottom. Either way it is really hard to make even for me. Usually she trys and then I come through and give it a touch up.
