Question:

Do you need gear other than goggles for airsoft?

My friend convinced me to buy a gun and have an airsoft fight , he has a 320 fps gun and I have a 315 fps gun ,would we need more than just safety goggles ?

Answer:

If it doesn't, take it apart, clean it, rough it up with fine sandpaper or steel wool, re-dope the re-glue it and allow it to dry before you apply pressure. I like to give at least 10 minutes.
A minute is not enough time. Prime the parts and glue. Consult the directionsit probably says to wait 15 minutes at least.
P.V.C pipes during the extreme cold weather are very brittle and breaks off with little pressure or twist, You can do the repairs very simple as stated by others shut of the main valve, you need a new valve with two pipe branch pipes depend on what Lent you crop off, plus two sleeves to suit both end pipes, smear P.V.V glue which can be purchased in small container and slip it on wait for 30Min's and your in Biz, good luck
If you have a battery tester, check that the battery is new and registering at full power when tested. If not sure, buy a new battery. That would be the first thing I would check. Smoke detectors are not expensive to replace. You may just want to do that (and they often come with the batteries includedbut still test the battery's potency). Your life is worth more than the cost of replacing the unit. Be safe and good luck!
if your using them for high pressure, you need to glue them and give them at least 1-2 hours to completely set up. now, are you useing PVC OR CPVC? it makes a huge difference. if your using PVC, the white pipe, and using then for water, i hope its not potable water because pvc is not for potable water, pvc you need to prime and then glue, if your using CPVC, the beige pipe, you should get the one step glue and no need to prime, the cpvc is what is used for potable water. either pipe, let stand for at least 1 hour, the longer the better. the pvc isnt for potable water because it does not repel bacteria like the cpvc does. added: to the moron josh.READ THE IPC.2nd, pvc glue DOES NOT FUSE the piping and the fittings together. abs does, pvc does not. i have taken many many pvc fittings and pipe apart and re use. there is even a tool just for that called a hub saver. you should really know what your talking about before you put your foot in your own mouth. read the IPC (international plumbing code) and maybe, just maybe you will learn something, although i doubt it.
