Question:

Does a company have a right to fire you for using the Internet?

I got fired at my job for stupid reasons!!! I was using the Internet and checking my e-mail and myspace at work when it was slow and my boss caught me doing that by the monitoring of how many times I logged on the Internet for personal use and personal websites non work related and they said I did it excessively!!SO THEY FIRED ME FOR THAT!! IS THIS RIGHT? They could have just disabled the Internet if I was using it too much and I was bored at work with nothing to do so of course I was playing on the computer. Big deal!!! I felt like a kid!Is there a law suit I can file with this employer? I have a disability and trouble focusing and when its slow, I use the Internet when I am bored to check e-mail and weather and it was never in the company policy about using INternet for personal use and I NEVER GOT ANY WARNINGS!!!

Answer:

Yes! When an ideal sight is found habs could be linked to create a permanent martian base where crew could use as a home base and develop construction techniques to best cope with the Martian environment and expand their base. Terraforming is not impossible either. It would take a lot more study of Mars to figure out how viable terraformation is, but people have come up with a few ideas already. We could send large amounts of super greenhouse gasses via rocket or produce them on the surface with small factories. A slightly wilder idea is to put a state sized mirror made of a very thin very reflective material in orbit around Mars to reflect more sunlight onto the surface. Another idea is to use nuclear warheads or even redirected comets or asteroids to heat up the surface with collisions. As soon as the temperature rises the frozen CO2 at the caps will sublimate and raise the air pressure. With a lot more effort and some luck we might just turn Mars into a new Earth. This probably doesn't apply to you since you most likely have a deadline on this paper of yours, but I would recommend reading Red Mars by Kim Robinson. Their are sequals, Green Mars and Blue Mars, that follow Mars's terraformation. *edit* 'Stevebiggerthanaverage', to my understanding it takes 6 months to get to Mars so long as you leave when Earth and Mars are closest.
Against. It should be treated like the Antarctic is supposed to be. Much better to start with the Moon then the asteroids.
mars is already taken. go find a planet of your own to colonize.
Hi Chelsea Did you know it well take about 1 and a half - 3 years for a space ship to get to mars that's a long journey we can get to the moon in about 3 days it's 230,000 miles mars is millions of miles Why put people on mars we can put people on the moon with less time to travel and a lot less expensive Steve
I love that song but I didn't understand the music video at all! It's weird though because now I want to watch it again and try to understand it. I guess you never really do know with Eminem
