I wan to buy the injen cold air intake for my Nissan maxima but i don‘t know if it will be worth the money i was hoping someone had it and would let me know how it is workingand if it really gives you that extra HP and torque

all cars and vehicles crash and flip over. in Nascar accidents happen. there's no way around it. whether you're a first time driver like in the Nationwide (formally known as Busch) series, or a veteran driver, these things happen. there cars lose control, they get hit by another car spinning out, sometimes they hit the wall causing them to turn over.
what happens is the aero on the cars affect what happens then you got the draft which keeps the car running on the ground with aer but when the car gets sideways that allows enough air to get underneath the car and pick it up which enables the car to flip through the air
I honestly have an 06 Altima 3.5, that's on the point of in reality a similar motor vehicle engine smart. as immediately as I threw on an intake it definately made it plenty louder from 4k RPM to redline. the diverse autos i have were given had and threw an intake on did not fairly result the sound that plenty, yet for the VQ motor it definately wakes up the noise up severe. As for universal performance, you're realistically staring at next to none.
Zero sum Gain money spent vs extra noise and chance of damaging a $450 air flow meter. Maxima is a family Sedan if you wanted a sports car? Reliable long lasting almost trouble free just keep it stock on the inside and buy some good tires and wheels. ECM modifications cold air intake and exhaust then your doing something that may get you 25 hp. You might even get .5 second faster 1/4 mile
1. Your car HAS a cold air intake. Ever actually look at your engine? The intake goes away from the engine, and has an inlet behind the bumper. This to draw in cold air. 2. The only difference between stock and aftermarket, is SLIGHTLY better piping. But only marginally. 3. At best, you'll see 1-2 horsepower through your powerband, and a gain near redline. So, most of the time, no noticeable gain, unless you decide to keep the car at redline the entire time. I'm going to guess you saw the ad say something like 7-10 horsepower at peak. And ignored the AT PEAK part. If you look at the dyno, there's actually sections where your engine will lose horsepower and torque. It will be a catastrophic waste of your money. But it's your money, do what you want.
