Question:

Does anyone believe in card readers?

I went to a card reader to get my cards read just for fun. She told me that my husband is really depressed and been thinking about commting suicide. Should i take her seriously or just blow it off as nothing. We have been having some problems but i thought everything was okay now. Hes offshore so i can't talk to him right now and this is really bothering me. I love my husband very much and this would devastate me.

Answer:

Sweetie I read cards, and they have come true, but I would never tell someone something like this, I may have said your husband was feeling low, but even then it would be difficult for her to know that as it was a reading for you not your husband. She should never have said anything when you are not in a position to do anything about it, and therefore behaved quite unethically. Besides cards tend to indicate what may happen, and give you guidance, what is the point of them if fate were predetermined and free choice had no place? According to this reader then everyone would know when they would die, and it would invalidate the point of living. Try not to worry, write to him if you can't talk to him, tell him how much he means to you, how you long to see him and hate being away from him. No decent card reader would ever say something is set in stone, try not to worry and don't give her your money again! if you wanna talk more feel free to email me. Take care hun, i'm sure your hubby is ok x

Card readers are the exact same as psychics, they are just cold readers. Think, and really THINK about what she told you, not the emotional impact it would have but WHAT she said. Think about it for a while, you'll find that she asked really vague questions in the beginning, and as the 'session' progressed it got more and more specific. She was guessing in the beginning, then making very educated guesses towards the end, it's called cold reading.
I have been to a psychic and a card reader. I have to say they were both very accurate. That being said, they weren't 100%. Neither of them ever told me about an impending death (and my father did die shortly after seeing the card reader). If you have no way of calling him, what about sending a letter? That may help alleviate some of your fear.
