There's not really any danger of it blowing up in your face, but there's a possibility that it won't work too well or at all. For a fire extinguisher fight, though, it should be fine. Just be careful: pressurized gases, such as those in a fire extinguisher, escaping through small holes (the nozzle) can result in extremely low temperatures of the foam that is expelled from the extinguisher. Hitting someone with a fire extinguisher in very close quarters can even result in frostbite. Just make sure that when you use it, you are at least a few feet away from the target. Your fire extinguisher fight is probably the best use for an extinguisher that hasn't been serviced in over fourteen years. Good luck and have fun.
