Question:

does anyone know how to get back the brushed aluminum look on a bicycle that has scratches?

how or what take out the scratches?

Answer:

You just need to set up the Router from your laptop use the software provided to you if anyNo need for wires)
ok option one will work as far as I know, but the probthat we had with that option is both of the computers running really slow, so the ppl at att told us to try the 2wire and it works really well with a laptop, so far no running slow, and no bad connections, or disconnections like b4.try if u can.
if you have everything set up correctly then it will surely workas far as anything else, there should be only 1 main computer that will be connected via ethernet.
If you have a wireless router you do not need to have any ethernets pluged in other then from your modem to your routerDon't forget to secure your wireless! Update to your update: ATT Helpdesk is wrongIf you buy a wireless router, say Linksys Wireless G, you can plug it into the DSL modem and it will workATT wants to sell you THEIR modem / wireless router to make 80 bucksJust go for it :D.
AbsolutelyHere is the way that Litespeed does it on their titanium framesThe same process will work on aluminum - and is even easierPurchase Scotch-Brite padsI believe the maroon ones are the correct grade, but check on thisNot the home version that are bonded to sponge, but the kind you get at the hardware store in the abrasives sectionCut them with utility scissors into 2 inch wide strips and buff your tubes radially with the strips - like you would buff shoes with a shoeshine ragWorks like a charm, and you'll be happy with the resultEdit: Mirage is rightMost bare aluminum frames are either anodized of clear-coated, and aluminum oxidizes much faster than titaniumBut you can either clear coat it after you have finished, or do what I did with a Cannondale that I stripped to naked aluminum several years ago - polish it from time to time with a rag and Mother's Mag PolishThat one was smooth, not brushed, and looked like a brand new bike every time I polished itAs for the thumbs down nonsense, I don't know who keeps doing this, but I often get best answer, either from the asker or the voters, for answers that have 2 or 3 thumbs downI think it's just bad behavior by people (mostly kids) with nothing better to do and I don't let it bother me.
