I like a sofa from Argos but don't want to buy before I try... do the extra/superstores have the sofas available for you to see?
I don't know anything about argos sofa's but i have bought their pine bedroom furnature and been very pleased with it. My son bought leather sofa's from DFS and they needed replacing after 13 months because all the seat supports broke. He and his girl friend don't have children so it wasn't abused in any way. I bought a suite direct from a factory 10 years ago and it is good as new, so I suppose you get what you pay for.

I had the exact same problem, I called them up and they told me that is was catalog only. I think you will find this problem for most palces online. If you are looking for a cheap leather sofa or reclining sofa or even a sofa bed i tried www emishome .uk, they had the same sofa i wanted in the argos catalog plus i could see it in there birmingham showroom. Another great feature, if you need it fast they even delivered it the next day.
