Question:

Does it void an extended warranty if you put a cold air intake?

I got an 07 Honda accord V6 with a warranty does it void the cars warranty if i put a cold air intake?

Answer:

Modifications usually do void the warranties. Read yours carefully before doing and mods. If you are thinking this will make a huge difference in performance on your car, you're wrong.
Possibly best to read your warranty contract.
The only way the intake will void the warranty is if the dealership can PROVE it caused whatever problem you may need serviced. A friend of mine was denied warranty coverage several years ago when he installed his intake. The problem was, the driver side window motor was blown. They told him his car was modified so it wasn't covered. That was BS and since laws have been passed b/c dealerships were seen using this as a money making scheme. Install your intake and enjoy.
