Question:

Does the LED light have to be transformer?

Does the LED light have to be transformer?

Answer:

Led lamp bead can't directly answer the alternating current (ac). Alternating current (ac) to the drive power supply, drive power supply output termination LED lamp bead.
It's not called transformer. LED lights need drive power, has permanently flow drive and resistance capacity drive, usually 220 v50hz ac power input.
If it is a 12 v power supply, need another 12 v power supply, general ac dc, but never can directly connect the 220 v power supply.
There are two kinds of leds to shoot the light, the 12 v power supply voltage and 220 v power supply voltage. If the power supply voltage is 220 v, without additional transformer, lamp has a built-in transformer.
