Answer:

Yes you can, just tried it. Give the glass a soft surface, a folded towel works well. The submerge the glass completely and just take it slow. I used a regular wood bit and it made a nice hole in it. Just take it slow and let the drill spin as fast as it possibly can. Best of luck!
If you're talking about a normal ( as in a high speed drill bit ) then no it won't. Carbide bits have a spade shaped point, and are made to withstand the friction of drilling in glass. ( I'd recommend round-head diamond bits for holes up to 1/2, and hollow-core diamond bits above 1/2. Diamond bits will drill many holes with one bit and rarely cause breakage if properly used. Carbide bits can generally only drill one hole.Hope that helps you , good luck.
A pet hair lint remover from your local dollar store or pharmacy will help. Also just using a lint brush works great. Packing tape is a great solution when you are on the go. I had to make sure that when I was not wearing my clothes I had to keep them away so that my cat will not nuzzle on it. Also not hugging him in my work and school clothes helped.
Hi It will only work if you drill it under 12 water at slow speed, best if you always use the correct drill bit. cheers Bob a job
No, only with Diamond Drillbits. And no with even diamond drillbits if it is tempered or safety glass as this can only be done with special equipment.
