Question:

Dying black clip-ins brown?

I have some black clip in extensions and I was wondering if I just brought some brown hair die and applies it will it become brownI am trying to get it to about 1b off black

Answer:

A contractor would rather install insulation in the winter months as it won't be as hot in the atticThe cost of blown in fiberglass for approx 8 inches or R-19 will range from about .90 to 1.30 per sqftCheck with local insulation contractors or the home improvement centers for quotes.
truthfully, blown insulation is a job you could do yourself, for about $0.15 a square footfirst, check to see how much insulation you have alreadyoverall you will want to have at least 12''so if you only have 4'' right now, you'll need an additional 8''then calculate the size of your atticmake a trip to home depot with those figures, and they will be able to tell you how many bags of blown insulation you will needthey rent the blower too, which is generally free by purchasing a minimum amount of bags, like 12it's pretty easy to do, although it can be a little messy.
If you are a DIYer, many home centers will loan you an insulation blower for little to nothing if you buy the insulation from them.
Your going to have to bleach them first then apply the brown color you wantYou don't have to get them platinum just light enough for the brown to be put one brown won't cover blackGood luck! It's pretty easy just get a color brush and bowl and do it on aluminum foil.
