i have a brown sofa with removable covers which have started to get a bit sun bleeched and is turning orange in places!! is there a way of dying the covers brown again? and if so how do i do it
Yes, you can buy DIY dyes for fabrics. Some are good and some are not. I have found it is trial and error. I have used the dye that you put in your washing machine with the fabric and then you put it through a cycle. It was hopeless. It may have just been the brand though. I would ask at a fabric shop which dye and which method they recommend.
You may be able to take the covers to a specialized tailor who is able to do that sort of thing, i do know hat there are some do it yourself things on the market, but there is not really a common way to get your sofa re-dyed. Maybe you could buy new covers?
