Hi Vik ! Your fire alarm is telling you that it is very hot at your place. Actually it is as hot as hell. Check the casing to see if it has any numbers stamped on it; such as 666 or 999. If so it was meant for somebody else`s residence.Did you get any freebies with it, such as a pair of horns and a toasting fork?
All fire alarms have a battery (wouldn't work if the power was out). They beep when the batt is low
My friend has the Quantum Nitrous combo. Honestly, they are both complete garbage. If you want anything worth your money, then get the Abu Garcia Black Max or Silver Max combo at *****. It should be around $50. That is actually a decent reel and rod. Edit: Yes, I have used the Lighting Rod and have used that exact same combo. The rod is excellent for the money.
LOL, mine did this too. Even a hard-wired fire/smoke alarm should have a back-up battery. Get out a chair, climb up there, read the base, it should tell you how to open it and then pull the dang battery out. I don't envy you. What a pain just before bed!
ide say its a short in the fire alarms sestem.. it happens with car alarms too, just for no reason youll have to get beping and turning off the alarm.
