eating fruit before bed?

i know that eating before bed is bad, but if it is fruit or vegetables is it still bad if your trying to lose weight?

Eating before bed is really a bad habit. However, if you need to stay up late and feel hungry, then fruits plus some cereals is good for you. And remember do drink a lot of water if you stay up late. You will not feel so exhausted as compared to not drinking. There is a description for fruits eating as I read from newspaper. Eating fruits at morning is gold, eating fruits at afternoon is silver, eating fruits at evening is blonze.
Eating Fruit Before Bed
its safe to have about 200 calories before bed. however that being said, i do not recommend eating fruit before bed as fruit contains a lot of simple sugars which will basically give you a sugar rush making it harder to fall asleep. if you have no problem sleeping then having fruit before bed is not a big deal.

Fruit are full of simple sugars, which are simple carbohydrates (leave these alone), you shouldn't eat complex carbs e.g. pasta, brown bread after 6pm unless your going to do some major exercise after or the next day e.g a marathon. This is because carbs give you energy, in the evenings you use very little energy so the carbs are not expelled and are stored as fat. The reason you should eat plenty of fuit is because the goodness of the vitamins minerals faaaaaaaar out way the simple sugars.
