effects of liming on nitrogen?

Answer:

?? Limes? A little more information would be helpful.
well, wouldn't they just rest on the bottom of the vase? Are they whole limes? I would just put in enough so that they hold one another in place. I think you will need to put some in, then put in the stems of the flowers you are arranging, then more limes. It would be a bit tricky. But if you just fill the base with the limes, you won't be able to put the stems down into the vase. So put in one or two limes. Let them go where they will. Put in a few stems, put in another lime to hold those stems where you want. Then do a few more stems. etc Probably as you do it you will see the pitfalls and come up with a good method on your own.
