Question:

Emediate help! My car alarm wont shut off!?

Is there anyway to shut off your car alarm!! i unlocked my car and got in and it started going off for no reason!! I drove it into my garage so it wouldnt be so loud for the neighbors but you can still faintly hear it! I just need a quick soulution right now to turn it off!

Answer:

The key has nothing to do with the alarm. The key chip is strictly for the pats system, which disables the starter only. The alarm is triggered by either the key fob, the door being opened, or the ignition switch being tampered with. I would say just get a key fob from the dealer, and program it by jumping the two wire connector in the left side of the trun k right by the keyless entry module. This way you can turn the alarm off, and have remote entry as well.
disconnect the battery and then look for the owners manual for the alarm. It will start going off again when you reconnect the battery.
There is no such thing as a winter motorcycle tire. Motorcycles are not expected to be on the roads in winter. There are ice racing tires, but they are no more than studded dirt tires - and are not road legal. I have put sheet metal screws into street tires in the past.
I have ridden off road in a little snow now and again. I wouldn't even think of it on the street. The way a motorcycle turns does not lend itself to ice and snow on a hard surface.
Do you have a remote alarm? Work of the key? what car is it? You can try re-locking it and or putting the key in the car door and turning it, but it's hard to tell without knowing a bit more first. Failing that disconnect the battery!
