I am working on a project on Braking System of different vehicles from 2 to 4 wheelers and braking system of train.Actually i wanted to design small scale model of a brake or braking system for my college project but i dont know what kind of system and how to design it because i dont have experience of designing anything.But i know i can do but need your help.I am looking if anybody have any experience or idea on designing braking system.If you people tell of what kind of braking system should made and how then it will be really helpful for me.Thanks for your time.
The motor is supposed to turn/move yes.
I suggest you go to a good bicycle shop. There you can see the mechanisms for at least 2 types of brakes, shoe clamp and disk. If your family has a relatively new car with disk brakes, go jack it up, take one wheel off and you can see it. You could also go to a auto junk yard and look at some car brakes, probably can find drum and disk brakes, or go to your local car repair shop, they may have a car up on a lift doing a brake job.
