I would first try a Ford dealer ,they should be able to show you aparts break down on that area and what you need. There are also many after market parts suply places. Check your local yellow pages.
Some of the parts stores have universal type arms that may work - but the best bet is to go to your Ford dealer and get one - maybe a little higher, but it will work and fit - 1st time, with no hassle.
A new one from Ford is 61.98 but there is one available aftermarket(Napa, Autozone etc. ) for less but quality will be less. The junkyard may be an option but I would advise against it as the arms weaken over time and it may be only a temporary fix.
Additives are normally used to increase the shelf life of the products. Sodium benzoate is common to prevent external invasion of fungi/bacteria.( atleast in my country-India)
