Question:

Fire fighter wedding ideas?

I am getting married in September and my fiancé is a firefighter and I wanted to add some decor involving the fire department. My colors are blue, silver white and black. I can not figure out what to do. I was thinking about something on the tables or in the flower center piece. If any one has any ideas about anything just let me know.

Answer:

Speed bumps. Go slow children sign(could work for some drivers). Open up a Dunkins on your street.
you cant unless you hang a sign up saying Radar enforced, 10000000 ticket or something idk
I threatened one kid years ago with a garden rake as he rolled past - a rake will lift a LOT of paint from the side of a car:-( Is there time at night for a home-made cement speed bump to set up?
You could try smearing a little vaseline or petroleum jelly on your horses shoes, this will stop the snow packing under his feet. If you ride in the pasture, make sure you have permission and ride slowly, at a walk or a trot. Or, get a bunch of people together with shovels and just clear the snow out of the arena! Good luck!
It depends on the candle how close it is to the detector. If the candle has lead in the wick (most do) it will cause more smoke. Keep the candle in an open area away from a draft. If the smoke detector is in your room put the candle as far away as safely possible. Try to find candles with cotton wicks, they produce less smoke. PartyLite is a good candle provider, thier candles have 100% cotton wicks and the wax is parafin so it dissolves and is not too messy. They last longer too. A small candle will not set off the alarm as long as nothing catches on fire, which is why dorms have rules. To protect the students living there.
