i work in a large retail store and many of the fire alarms-extinguishers and hoses are blocked by products-displays and rubbish e.t.c and in the warehouse the only fire escape is always blocked by several loaded pallets and the stairway from the upstairs part of the warehouse is always blocked at the bottom !what is the fine-imprisoment e.t.c for this unacceptable pratice ? also could i stay off work on pay until this matter is corrected as i can't afford to leave my job but am not happy about working under these conditions.THANKS !
