Question:

First time build. Is my computer build compatible?

I have a list of computer parts here that I looked around and put together. I didn't, just use random parts. I have matched up everything if im right, although im not totally sure seeming this is my first time building a computer.

Answer:

Get a LGA 1155 motherboard, and get an Intel Core i3 2100. Cheaper and better than the 965. Also, are you going to play high end games like Battlefield 3 or CoD? If so, then you need a discrete graphics card, which you didn't list.
Looks like a great build, however I strongly recommend waiting for AMD Bulldozer.
One, maybe you should get someone to help you, considering you don't know if it will all fit in the tower. Two, that needs a video card. It won't work without one.
Where's your GFX Card? You want to use it don't you? Also, AMD Bulldozer is coming out in about a month or two, wait to build an AMD build because prices will drop/you could get a much better CPU. For the GFX (since your going AMD) I'd go for 6770, 6870, 6850, 6950, 6970, or 6990. Yes, all of those parts do work together.
