Question:

Fitting into my clothes better, Please Help!!?

How can I fit into my clothes better when they're a couple of sizes too big? I just can't go to to a tailor right now and I can't buy anymore new clothes for a while, soo I have to where the clothes i have now. Is using safety pins all that I can do right now? Same question concerning jeans..

Answer:

This question is a contradiction of terms. A one-way mirror IS NOT perfectly reflective. The reason you can see one-way (only if the ambient light on the observers side is less than on the active side) is because it allows a small amount of light to escape. Regarding the complete and total capturing of light within some shape (cube, sphere, etc.) - it is similar to the cat in a box riddle. How would you know that the light was contained? Because if you open the shape to see, the light could escape (assuming it was contained in the first place). Maybe it hadn't been contained? If the container was PERFECTLY reflective (assuming no absorption), you you would not be able to observe the inside of the container. You wouldn't be able to use detectors either because they rely on photon absorption as well). That is one of the problems in particle physics. There is evidence to support the idea that by observing a particle, the observer fundamentally alters the properties of the particle. Good question though.
if you do it once or twice, most likely you wont see any ill effects. do it often and you can blow out your struts/shocks. and if you do, from that point forward (until you replace the strut/shock) you will get a 'swimmy' ride whenever you go over bumps. the reason is that the ability of the shock/strut to dampen the imperfections of the road, has been grossly limited. the inside of a shock/strut is just a tube with oil on one end, and a valve with some oil on the other. as you drive, the oil is passed thru the valve. the tighter the valve, the slower the vehicle dip and rise - thereby giving you a firm ride. if that valving becomes damaged, fluid will pass thru much easier. that is what causes the 'swimmy' feeling. and as per the speed suggested for speed bumps (and similar), i slow down til i am nearly stopped, and then slowly continue forward. most people are just in too much of a rush to slow down enough, and dont care about their vehicle's suspension. most people dont understand their suspension, or what a 'well tuned' suspension should feel like.
