flat tire on a motorcycle?

Had a flat tire, didnt have money for a tow so i walked it about 2 miles. Brought it to the shop and they put a tube in it, and told me it was fixed. The bike rides like its off balance, or sometimes what it feels like when youre riding parallel to a long mound and you feel yourself kind of drifting but youre not turning. Then realize youre on crooked asphalt. Any ideas? Sometimes when i turn i feel like i have less traction than before the flat. It just feels lopsided or something.Thanks in advance

Assume you mean a fat tire midlife crisis chopper. Worst case, new fender, frame widened, transmission tweaked/jackshaft/driveline reworked, brake mounts/rotor reworked, possible new seat pan as well. And new paint on everything that gets dabbed/reworked. All for zero performance boost and laughs from people that actually ride (choppers, not show customs).
Well assuming its a chopper or Harley. You looking about 10hrs of labor. You'll need trans offset plate, new swing arm, rim(w/hub), new rear axle, new wheel spacers. Assuming you have a 250 now. You won't need a new drive belt. So after all that some new hardware, gaskets, fluids and that's about it. Note paint, chrome, or powder coat it before job starts. If you go Harley they have premade kits.
NEVER repair a motorcycle tire with a plug! They really are only recommended for emergency repairs on car tires. A motorcycle tire needs to be taken off the rim and patched on the inside. if you can't find a shop that does it in your area, buy a new tire. the life you save might be your own! A motorcycle tire takes different stresses then a car tire and few if any reputable shops will plug them.if the plug pulls out,like they often do,the sudden loss of air can cause you to lose control.
yea that sucks, take it back and tell them exactly what you said on here IM not going to point fingers yet, but that is dangerous, to you, somehow the tube is twisted , or folded, or is defective and has a big bulge, roll the bike when you are parked, if you can feel it on the road, you should be able to see a bulge in the tire, defective tube is one thing, a mistake installing is something else, and my exact words would be can I talk to the owner or the shop manager, tell him there is a problem with the tube (don't accuse anybody of anything) and say there is a bulge or something, and I don't want to get killed because of it. A good shop will fix this problem, but if they wont fix it, find a shop that will, sooner not later, have a detailed work repair order written if you have to go to a different shop but get it fixed, If you have a mag wheel vs a spoke wheel, there could have been a mistake done there, such as a bent wheel, (more likely on the mag) but get this done, asap and I would not use the bike for any long runs and if the first shop does not fix the problem, and the second shop confirms a problem and puts it in writing, sue the first shop in small claims court for repair costs, good luck
CHECK TO MAKE .SURETHEY ALIGNED AND TORQUED THE AXLE!!!!! Did your tire have a tube in it before, or is it a tubeless tire? If it is tubeless, adding a tube will throw off the balance. If it did have a tube in it before, they may have not aligned the tire to its original position and never re-balanced. Out of balance won't really cause the severe handling issue you state.it will mainly cause excessive vibration. Howeverif they did not properly ALIGN and most criticallyTORQUE the axle, and the nut is loosethis will cause what you are stating.also make sure they installed the wheel spacers on the correct sides.if they got swapped, this will cause the wheel to be off center and out of alignment. And most simply.check to make sure you actually do have the correct air pressure.lol.sounds wierd, but you'd be surprised.
