Question:

Flickering on LCD monitor?

I have a large LCD monitor and for the last two days or so I've been experiencing a slight flicker on the screen just above the taskbar. I'm using XP.Any ideas what's causing this and how I can fix it?

Answer:

Defrag it through the monitor settings
The only thing you need to do is adjust the refresh rate! REDUCE the hertz to a level where it no longer flickers!!!! Try it in one step at a time.
Try to customize your resolution screen setting. The higher you put the hertz up the less your monitor flickers. Like for example: use the resolution 1152 by 864 pixels at 32bit color with 70 hertz or higher. IF this doesnt help that you probably got a monitor that is worn out.
1 degauss your monitor(monitor buttons) 2 check your monitor settings in display properties this should let you know what hetz you can use 3 download from the net a updated driver hope this helps
