Answer:

There's a product called Fabric Stiffener I think it's made by Aleene'sYou can find it in the craft section of WalmartIt works!
If you go to a paper store or invitation store there are different weights of paperThere should be something like postcard-quality stock that should workYou have to go to a specialty store thoughKinkos may have somethingAlternatively you can apply some interfacing to it, They have interfacing you just iron on to the backHowever, it won't be stiff enough to make a card/invitation with just the fabric.
Do you have, or know anyone that has a xyron machine? Cut the fabric to fit the machine( I believe they are 10 or 11 inches wide) Run the material through the Zyron using the disk that applies adhesive to the backLeave the backing paper on and cut to the size , or design you wantWhen you are pleased, remove the backing paper and apply to the invitationSilk is such a fine fabric, the other methods suggested would change the texture of the fabric and you wouldn't be able to see that it is silkP.Sthe adhesive is archival, so it will do no damage to the fabric.
hmm idk just make ur own and put whatever u want in it l0l i did that before i made little bars out of oatmeal and honey and raisens becuase its hard to find some that dont have any added sugar
Aleene's fabric stiffener and draping liquid, always test procedure on a small scrap of material first
