currently I have 2 12woofers wired to a single amp with 2 gauge wiring. Will it make a noticable difference if I upgrade the wiring to 0 gauge?
No. Even if the wire is undersized there would have had to have been a LOT of voltage drop in the 2 awg compared to the 1/0 awg wire, AND the amp would have to be loosely regulated for there to be any significant improvement. If both of those things are true it's still not likely there'd be enough of a change to be audible.
