Question:

Front Axle On My BMX Bent?

When i was grinding a CEMENT ledge on my 2012 kink curb bike, the axle that holds my front peg bent up. when i go to grind regular rails, will it effect anything will my axle bend more or even come off WHAT SHOULD I DO

Answer:

it works of demand from the engine if your trying to climb a hill the engine needs a lower gear for the torque multiplication
check fluid.of course it shifts at differnt rpm,s dont you notice it.when u get on hyway and floor it it shifts at high rpm.geeze
it shifts depending on how much throttle you are giving it. more throttle, the higher the rpm. if its always shifting at the same rpm then you have a problem, take her into the shop for a check up.
you should just find a new axle.those ones are crap
3/8 male axles SUCK. I've bent everyone I ever owned in less than an hour. The cheapest option is to find a replacement axle. However, it will probably be better in the long run to get a better hub. I'm running a G-Sport Marmoset, and I love it. Its the strongest front hub you can buy. If you don't want to spend that much, get a Odyssey Vandero 2 or BSD Front Street. Do NOT get a hub with a male axle. If you keep grinding on it, it will somewhat throw your grinds off and will eventually snap and/or destroy the rest of your hub.
